After having contact with his distant descendant Peter Severyns, from Antwerp, I learned that Libert van der Dussen’s daughter, Anna, wife of Remy de Vos, had descendants that continued until today. A Belgian-French cousin with genealogical skills was kind enough to provide a formal summary, which you will find below.
Peter Severyns also tells me that Anna’s husband, Remy de Vos, was descended from an old and prestigious family. A genealogical study in the van der Dussen archives in Ottignies is dedicated to the de Vos. We will draw from it what we need to write an article for our site in the coming months.
Anna’s descendants seem to have remained in Brussels under the old regime, attached to the Chapelle church, or to Ste Gudule, then left for Flanders, near Ghent. They were merchants at that time (including a pharmacist then real estate agent in San Francisco!) or even a brewer, a very Belgian profession!
